[ September 2, 2011; 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. ] As part of the fundraising programme for the restoration of University Church, Stephen’s Green, Jenny Porter (Class of ’83 ) will be giving a Piano Recital in the church on Friday, September, 2nd. at 8 p.m. Tickets are €10 and will be available at the door

[ June 6, 2011; ] On the Bank Holiday Monday next, June 6th, on behalf of the GPPA,  Catherine-Anne will be taking part in the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon to raise funds for the Loreto-based Crumlin Adult Education Centre.

The Centre was established to meet the needs of the local community, especially women, through the provision of opportunities for human growth [...]

[ May 22, 2011; 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. ] The Green Past Pupils Choir, Verdi 53, has been invited to sing at the Loreto Past Pupils’ Union Day Mass.
To be held in Loreto Dalkey on Sunday, 22nd May at 2.30pm. After the Mass there will be a musical concert, followed by refreshments and chat.

All past pupils from any Loreto school are welcome to attend.

The annual ‘Maytime Music Concert’ presented by the current Green students
takes place in The O’Reilly Theatre, Belvedere College on Monday, 16th and Tuesday,17th of May.

 
Tickets are €25 for adults and €10 for students.
 
The concerts are part of the fundraising the Green is organising to help cover the cost of cancer treatment [...]

[ March 25, 2011; 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. ]

There is a hockey match taking place on Friday 25th of March in Pembroke Hockey Club between past Loreto students and current Senior 1 and sixth year students.

The match will be at 4pm with the use of the bar area for a bit of a social gathering after.

A new choir for Green Past Pupils has been formed.

It’s an ideal way to bring together Past Pupils of all ages, as well as opening up new social and fundraising possibilities.

While the main focus will be on enjoyment, we will however be working towards performance standard, and in time, will be available to sing on [...]

[ October 1, 2010; 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. ] Piano Recital by Jennifer Porter in Newman University Church, St. Stephen’s Green.
Programme includes works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Chopin.

All proceeds to University Church Restoration Fund.

[ April 17, 2010; 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. ] We will be holding a lunch for all Green Past Pupils in the school on Saturday, 17th April at 1 p.m.

We hope you will join us on this social occasion when we plan to celebrate the official launch of the GPPA Website.
The closing date for bookings is Thursday, March 25th. As spaces for this event are limited, we advise early booking to avoid disappointment.

The cost of the lunch is €25 plus a small booking fee of €1.20, if you pay online.
