Family to Family Drop-In Day, Saturday, 3rd. Dec.
We have been in touch with some of the Loreto sisters living and working in the community, who are aware of families who are struggling.
In response to this, The G.P.P.A. has started a new initiative, Family to Family. It is hoped that this will provide opportunities to help families in need in a practical way.
Why not join us for tea, coffee, mince pies etc, on Saturday, 3rd Dec. 2011, when we will be having the first Family to Family Drop-In Day in the school?
The school will be open to Past Pupils between 11a.m. and 4p.m., for what we hope will be an enjoyable social occasion.
We ask that you bring something with you from the following list please –
* New (or barely worn) Children’s Clothes
(The guide is that they should be clothes that a mother would be happy to put her child in and a child would be happy to wear.)
* Fancy / Treat Food Items for Christmas Hampers
* Dunnes Stores Vouchers
* Pantomime Vouchers
* New Toys
* Nappies
* Cosmetics & Toiletries which we will pass on to the Women’s Refuge in Rathmines.
All items donated on the day will be passed on to the Loreto sisters for distribution to the families in need.
